Whether your planning a short weekend break or a longer stay you will receive a warm Highland welcome at 6 Caberfeidh from Wilma and Jim McCourt.
With 26 years experience in the hospitality industry, we pride ourselves in making our guests feel relaxed and welcome. We have many friends who return year after year to stay with us - I think it is a testimony to Wilma's fine Scottish breakfast.....
The weather in Fort William can be very changeable, so for those wet days, there is a Leisure Centre including swimming pool, hydotherapy pool, Squash Courts and gymnasium, nearby. The Nevis Centre is also close by, it has indoor bowling and hosts various events throughout the year.
Location
6 Caberfeidh is conveniently located just 2 minutes walk from the High Street and a 5 minute walk from both the bus and railway stations. Ideal for the Steam Train or visitors using public transport.
Facilities
All bedrooms have flat screen freeview tv's, tea and coffee making facilities as well as hairdryers. There is free WiFi access throughout the house.
Jim's Taxis
Your host Jim McCourt has been driving taxis for over 40 years, originally in Glasgow but laterly in the Fort William area. Jim provides preferential rates to guests, be it for a short local trip or a longer journey to an airport or other destination.
Fort William is accessed from the North and South by the A82
Coming from the South
At the first roundabout take the Town Centre exit.
Turn right immediately after the pedestrian crossing. Follow thge road up the hill, past the church on the left, keep left. We are the blue house on the left at the bottom of the hill.
Coming from the North
At the second mini roundabout, turn right. You will pass the Leisure Centre on the left and after approximately 100 metres, turn left and then immediate right into Victoria Road. At the end of the road turn right and right again into Fassifern Road. We are the blue house on the left at the bottom of the hill.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in our newly modernised open plan kitchen dining area. A full Scottish Breakfast is included in the price of your stay. This consists of Square sausage from our local butcher, bacon, egg, tattie scone, black pudding and mushrooms. We also offer a Continental Breakfast and a selection of vegetarian dishes.
Parking
Fassifern Road has on street parking permits for residents, guests will require a permit which will be allocated to you on arrival or you can park in our small drive. In the rare event of there being no street parking available, we will pay for council parking up until 10am. The council car park is located 75 metres from the property. We will assist with the transfer of luggage if required.
