There are lots of
things to see and do in the area. Here are a few of our favourites
 | Glenfinnan - starting point for the
Jacobite Rebellion and in more modern times a location for the "Harry
Potter" movies |
| Ben Nevis (possibly from an old Gaelic word meaning venomous) is
the highest mountain in the British Isles at 1344 metres. It is easily
accessible from Glen Nevis via the old pony track which used to
service the observatory on the summit.
