Fort William is accessed from the North and South only by the A82: Coming from the South (Crianlarich,Tyndrum) You come up the A82 along the loch side into Fort William. When
you come to the first roundabout you take the Town centre cut off. You can only go along the High St for 200 yards and it becomes
pedestrianised. Turn right at the pedestrianisation(you are now in our street)
carry on up the hill past the old church. When you start to come
downhill you will see a row of Victorian semi villas on you left,we are the
last one, a blue house with a blue sign outside.
Coming from the North(Inverness,Dalwhinnie or Spean Bridge) Come down the A82 towards Fort William, coming towards town you
will pass a mini roundabout go straight through . You will pass an Esso station on your left
and then after a quarter of a mile a Gleaner petrol station also on you left. You will go through a set of lights and two hundred yards past
these you will come to another mini roundabout turn right at this and after
two hundred yards you will see the leisure centre on your left. After this take the first small street
on the left.(The Craig Nevis Guest house is on the corner) Immediately when you turn the road will split, take the
right fork into Victoria Road.Go along to the end and turn right and then
hard right. You are in our street and we are two hundred yards down on the
left,a blue house with a blue sign.Any problems phone us on 01397 703756.
On Foot
The bus and train stations are basically together. When you come off either bus or train, look for the underpass (there are ramps to save you carrying cases up or down stairs)
Go through the underpass and it will bring you up at Cobbs Bar (part of the Nevisport shop.)
Look to your left and you will see the Alexandra Hotel. Take the street to the left of the Hotel. When you go up this street (Dudley Rd) and go around a bend you will see our house. It is light blue with a sign.
If you wish to take a taxi it will go around the one way system and cost about £2.50, but it is only a five minute walk |
